BEFORE YOU UPLOAD YOUR FILE:

We have a small checklist of information you should confirm before you submit an order via our WeTransfer module. Please read this thoroughly, as it can save you from the hassle of having to resubmit details or files.

NOT FOLLOWING THIS THOROUGHLY MAY DELAY YOUR JOB.

1. PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFO WHEN REQUESTING A QUOTE OR A PRINT JOB.

How many finished pieces?

  • When do you need your job done by?

  • The finished size of the piece

  • Single or double sided?

  • Full bleed (color going to the edge, more expensive)? Or is a white border fine?

  • What sort of paper or cardstock do you want?

  • What sort of binding do you need?

If you are not sure, you can see us in person, or give us a brief description and we can choose one for you.

Use this list of descriptors to accurately describe what you’re looking for, and one of our experts can take the hassle out of choosing it yourself.

  • Paper or cardstock

  • Something thin, in the middle, thick

  • Something economic, expensive, or in the middle

  • color or white paper

  • Gloss, matte or no finish

  • How many times do you plan to use this item?

2. HAVE YOU SPELL CHECKED YOUR DOCUMENT?

We do NOT check for any errors other than size on your document. You are fully responsible for what is submitted to us for printing. Occasionally we spot something obvious and will inform you, but we cannot catch everything.

If you’d like to see a proof first, please state so in your email. Depending on the job, proofs can range from free to $5.

3. IS THIS SAVED AS A HIGH RESOLUTION PDF?

  • A flattened PDF will result in the best possible outcome for your prints. If you are not tech savvy and are not sure how to check if your PDF is flattened…

  • Open up your file in Acrobat: are objects or text individually selectable when they get clicked on? If so, chances are your file is not flattened.

  • Having an unflattened file might lead to objects or text not appearing properly in your prints. We do our best to catch these when we make proofs for ourselves before running an entire job, however it is still the customers responsibility in the end to have them flattened before coming to us.

4. DIFFERENT FILE TYPES

  • High resolution .jpg or tiff are also accepted, but we HIGHLY prefer .PDF

  • .word, .excel, .pub files might work, but file conversion fees may apply, and your document may not look as desired due to how these files open up on different computers.

  • We absolutely CANNOT print from .psd (photoshop file), .indd (inDesign files), .pages.

5. LASTLY, IF YOU HAVE A RUSH ORDER...PLEASE CALL US FIRST!

Most items can be rushed out. Depending on the job and the time frame we may need to add a rush fee appropriate to the job.

We generally have fast turn around times for our clients, especially the ones that we work with more often than not. However it is very important that you have a clear line of communication with us.

6. HAVE A DIFFERENT QUESTION?
